Internship, June 2003 to September 2003
- Maintained the Utzinger Memorial Garden for the Farm Science Review
- Designed proposal for future changes to the garden and assisted design professor in various design projects
- Controlled, installed, and repaired irrigation
- Planted many specialty annual beds
- Propagation, cleanup, and fertilizer applications
- Prepared several handouts with information and facts about the new plant material

Little Turtle Country Club, Columbus, OH
Grounds Maintenance, April 2002 to November 2002

- Maintained greens, tees, fairways, and bunkers
- Designed and installed various ornamental planters
- Assisted with installation, and irrigation line repairs
- Fall aerification and top-dressing duties
- Applied fertilizer and pesticides to greens, tees, and fairways
- Taught employees how to use machinery and golf course etiquette
- Operated heavy machinery such as fairway units, back-hoes, and tractors
- Helped with minor equipment repairs
